Functional Genomics Screening

Screening Genomico Funzionale

Mario Cinquanta

Functional genomics screening coordinator

Mario Cinquanta graduated with honors in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology from the University of Milan and obtained a postgraduate specialization in Pharmacological Research at the Mario Negri Institute. He has extensive experience in biomedical research, ranging from neuropharmacology to molecular genetics and experimental oncology.

After training and research appointments in Italy and abroad, including a research position at the National Institutes of Health (NIH, Bethesda, USA) in the laboratory of Nobel laureate Marshall Nirenberg, he continued his career at the European Institute of Oncology and later at IFOM in Milan.

In recent years, he has managed advanced technological platforms, first in the field of monoclonal antibodies and subsequently in genome editing, contributing to collaborative research projects and the implementation of innovative functional genomic screening approaches.
